The Austin Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEPhi) is governed by the University of Texas Panhellenic Council. Our members are involved in a variety of student organizations and honor societies. In addition to meaningful philanthropic activities, our members encourage, develop, and maintain academic success.
The House Director is a vital member of the AEPhi House Corporation Team while overseeing daily operations, managing key personnel, and coordinating vendors. In addition to the daily facility management, the house director will aid in budget plans, recommend capital improvements, and enforce house rules. Promoting gracious living standards and ensuring a clean, orderly atmosphere is imperative. This is a live-in position with private living quarters while the residents are in school.
First and foremost, you enjoy working with college age women. Conversations bring you energy and enjoyment. You are patient, flexible and a natural caregiver. This role acts as a mentor and confidant while students are away from their homes. Technology does not intimidate you, but you feel comfortable asking for help when needed. Excellent organization and communication skills are required. You’ve had experience managing a household, property, or service provider. Interacting and speaking with a variety of students/parents/alumni sounds like fun to you. You are authorized to work in the US, hold a valid Driver’s License, and speak English fluently.
